The High School Graduation Network believes that all students can reach their fullest potential, graduate from high school, and be prepared for their next step with the proper resources and supports in place. To attain this, we are focused on two strategies: supporting positive identity formation and strengthening support networks for youth.
In practice, this currently looks like:
-
Offering culturally responsive professional development to schools, community partners, and students
-
Evaluating after-school and summer expanded learning programming
-
Facilitating students through a deep-dive data analysis with their respective schools by hosting a student data summit
-
Facilitating Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion through collaboration with community-based organizations and content experts
-
Centering student voice around school safety procedures
