Detailed Description

Founder Message on GoFundeMe

My name is Charles Jackson, and I am the founder of the Ministry of Good Works and the Truth 2 Da Youth Mentorship Program. It is with great passion and determination that I reach out to you today to share our vision and request your support.

Truth 2 Da Youth is not just a program; it is a beacon of hope for young individuals teetering on the edge of a life consumed by crime and incarceration. Our pro-social group and mentorship program are specifically designed to reach out to these at-risk youth, offering them guidance, education, and positive role models to steer them away from the dangerous path they're on.

For me, this cause is deeply personal. Having witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of crime and incarceration on individuals and communities, I am driven to make a difference.

At Truth 2 Da Youth Mentorship Program, our hearts are steadfast in the belief that every young soul deserves a guiding light, illuminating their path away from the cycle of crime and negativity, towards a future overflowing with promise, purpose, and endless possibilities.

Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving this goal. Funds raised will be invested directly into the youth, providing them with opportunities to get involved in their communities and learn from those who have experienced the harsh realities of incarceration. Additionally, your support will enable us to offer more positive activities and outlets for these youth, keeping them distracted from the harmful influences of the world.

We are deeply grateful for your belief in our cause and your willingness to stand beside us as we strive to make a lasting impact. Thank you for being a beacon of light and hope in our community.

Join us in our mission to break the cycle of crime, homelessness, and incarceration by becoming a monthly sponsor or partner. Your support will help save our children's future. For more information, please contact us.

About Beam
  • For the commercial sector, we tend to register startup activities (new companies and new commercial projects) that bring diversification and high-impact opportunities to the area.
  • For the non-profit sector, we wish to shine light on all the organizations and services that otherwise labor under relative obscurity.
  • Our hope is that dmcbeam.org will encourage cross-sector collaborations and creative solutions.

While there are a number of registries in the community, dmcbeam.org's  distinct value is to pilot a database with a data structure and categorizations that answer the questions such as: What organizations or projects/programs in our community that have purported relevance with some of the over-arching focuses put forward by initiatives such as DMC, J2G and Health Improvements?

This database could be used as one of the ways to explore the capacities of the community. If you are someone on an exploratory journey to learn about the greater Rochester community. dmcbeam.org could be an interesting first step.
