1. Diversity In Business Resources Website Design FAQ's

1.1. What is the difference between DMC Beam and Diversity in Business Resources?

1.2. What is the target audience of the site?

1.3. Where does this website reside?

The current website is hosted on Middle Way Group Consulting web-server on a donation-in-kind service basis. Future hosting should be a discussion item if sustainability and scalability become an important issue.

1.4. What is the workflow? What are guardrails?

How do we determine what information gets linked? Is there a vetting process to ensure the appropriateness of the content?

1.5. How can we make the design of site be more appealing? Color scheme? Focus?

 This should continually be addressed while we continually talk about the purpose, audience, capability of the site.

1.6. How do I know if a certain organization or project is in the database or not?

For example, I think the database should have Police Policy Commission information.

1. At the Top Right Corner of the website's Search Box, key in the name of the organization or project (you don't have to type in the exact spelling)

   eg: police

2. The dynamic search box result will start to show if the content exists

1.7. How do I find out about the status of various J2G D/I Projects Status?

J2G D&I committee is championing 4 initiatives: Diversity-In-Business Resources is one of them, the others are: Intercultural Cities Initiative (ICI)We are More and Community Cultural Center.  Take this link to keep track of their progress.

2.1. What is my username and pw?

Login

You login id (by default) is the part of your email address in lowercase to the left of the @ sign and (your password is the same as your login id)

For example if your email were: JohnDoe@gmail. com, your login userid would be johndoe and your pw, johndoe (all lower case).
