Takeaways

 

CMRC opportunity to find out more about the MN State Legislature allocating $1 billion for affordable housing as well as those who are unhoused.  How that funding can help CMRC constituents.

CMRC members would be interested to learn more about MN State's first time homeownership and alternative financing (fee based loan as opposed to interest based loan that complies with Muslim homeownership seekers.   

MN State voting rights restoration for incarcerated people 

2024 Election Training/Education: Olivia and Khadija to get together to explore ideas to give immigrant Americans info on US election process and what mitigation steps available to discern disinformation. 

M.O.V.E Council is looking for people to apply to be on the council. Take this LINK to apply. 

ISAIAH will be convening a SE MN Budget Summit on September 26, 2024. Will post the event on Beam when more info is made available.
